Recently,we have received feedback from customers that some DVR/NVR products are at risk of being injected when processing

special MAC white-list requests, which may lead to abnormal equipmentwork.

The emergency response center pay a significant attention and immediately starts the internal technical analysis and investigation. 

The results are hereby notified as follows:

2018-04-03 TVT has issued an alert on this vulnerability (see: http://en.tvt.net.cn/news/227.html).

Most customers have completed the product upgrade, but a small number of customers are still affected.The bug had been fully

fixed since 1.2.6 version.

The trigger condition of this vulnerability is:

1. Firmware version before 1.2.6;

2. Using the default password or administrator password which was stolen

To protect your device from impact,Please following these steps immediately to update the version or contact your regional

technical supporter

1. Checking the white list of MAC to identify whether the MAC address is legal; if not, please delete it immediately;

2. Checking online users to identify whether there are illegal users logged on. It is recommended that you can usually check

online users. 

3.Checking the device log through which the IP information of the device trying to log in and the key operation information of

the logged in user can be obtained;

4. Upgrading the device firmware to the latest version;

5. Changing the default password immediately and updating the password regularly.
